What the public beta does—and does not do
Artwork Check lets you describe an intended print and submit one original PNG or JPEG, no larger than 25 MB, for private DTFATL staff review. It records measurable file facts and limited automated guidance.
A receipt is not print approval, proof approval, order confirmation, production release, or a promise that the file can be produced. The tool does not edit your artwork, connect it to a verified order, or send it to production.
The service is a public beta and may be paused, limited, or changed to protect customers and DTFATL. If you need a production decision, contact DTFATL and wait for a person to confirm it.
Information Artwork Check handles
The service handles the information you choose to provide, including:
- your email address, optional name and company, an optional unverified order reference, and the intended print details;
- your required statement that you own the artwork or have permission to reproduce it;
- the original file, its filename and format, byte size, dimensions, checksum, measured facts, and review findings; and
- timestamps and bounded security, rate-limit, reliability, and malware-screening records needed to operate and protect the service.
Artwork Check does not place your original, contact details, private receipt code, or storage address in a public URL. It does not provide a public customer file library or public artwork download.
Service providers involved
DTFATL uses a small set of service providers to operate and protect Artwork Check:
- Sites and Cloudflare
- The application runs through Sites on Cloudflare infrastructure. Cloudflare handles application requests, private database records and file storage, security controls, and operational delivery.
- Cloudflare Turnstile
- The create form uses Turnstile to detect abusive automated traffic. Cloudflare processes browser and request signals such as IP address, TLS fingerprint, user agent, the Turnstile site key, and the associated origin. Artwork Check sends the resulting short-lived challenge token to Cloudflare for validation and does not store that token in the customer record.
- Cloudmersive
- The exact uploaded PNG or JPEG bytes are sent through a private, authenticated Cloudflare gateway to Cloudmersive's Virus Scan API for malware screening. Cloudmersive publicly describes its applicable stateless APIs as transient and says payload data is not retained after the transaction. DTFATL does not represent that a particular processing region or a Data Processing Agreement applies to this account unless separately confirmed in writing.

Malware screening and quarantine
Customer artwork is treated as quarantined when it is uploaded. Upload success can occur before the asynchronous malware screen finishes. Protected staff preview and download remain locked until the exact stored bytes receive valid clean evidence.
A blocked result, scanner outage, inconclusive response, stored byte mismatch, or missing evidence does not become clean. The file remains quarantined for retry, staff handling, or deletion. Automated screening reduces risk but is not a guarantee that a file is harmless.
Your private receipt is a limited bearer credential
Artwork Check shows a submission ID and private receipt code when the submission is created. Save both values and keep them private. Anyone who has both can open the limited customer receipt during its active period.
- The raw private receipt code is shown to you and only a digest is stored by DTFATL.
- It is not put in a page address, cookie, or browser storage.
- It expires seven days after the submission is created and may be revoked sooner.
- It cannot download the original, open staff tools, approve artwork, or release production.
Do not post the receipt values publicly or send them through an untrusted channel. Contact DTFATL if you believe they were exposed. A lost code may not be recoverable.
Retention and deletion
- Draft with no successful upload: the receipt expires after seven days. The draft is then marked abandoned, and its contact information is scheduled for redaction 30 days after that expiry. Cleanup removes the customer session and intent after confirming its private storage area is empty.
- Successful artwork upload: DTFATL does not promise an automatic deletion date for the private original or review record. They remain in the owner-controlled retention process for staff review, customer support, and related order handling.
- Deletion request: contact DTFATL so staff can verify and record the request. The owner-only process includes a 30-day safety period before permanent purge can begin. Confirmed purge removes the private artwork bytes and customer receipt/session data. Redacted deletion and operational evidence may remain to document that the process occurred, without providing a way to retrieve the artwork.
A support request is the only public path for access, privacy, receipt revocation, or deletion help; the customer receipt does not perform those actions itself.
Acceptable use and customer responsibility
By continuing with Artwork Check, you agree that you will:
- submit only artwork you own or are authorized to reproduce, and understand that the required statement records your claim rather than creating legal or production approval;
- upload only a genuine PNG or JPEG no larger than 25 MB, not an executable, malicious file, disguised file type, or content intended to interfere with the service;
- avoid automated, excessive, evasive, unlawful, infringing, or abusive use and comply with the service's security and volume limits; and
- avoid including sensitive personal information that DTFATL did not request.
DTFATL may limit access, keep a file quarantined, reject a request, revoke a receipt, or pause the beta when needed for safety, rights review, capacity, or service integrity.
Questions, privacy requests, and general terms
For an access, privacy, receipt-revocation, or deletion request, or for questions about an artwork submission, use DTFATL's contact page. Do not post a private receipt code publicly; staff can provide safer follow-up instructions.
This tool-specific notice supplements DTFATL's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. If this notice changes materially, its date will be updated.
